And God Paused…
Genesis 1:25, “God made earth-creatures in a vast variety of species… God saw that His creation was beautiful and good. AND GOD PAUSED….” (the Voice Translation)
Genesis 2:2 “On the seventh day, with the canvas of the cosmos complete, GOD PAUSED….” (the Voice Translation)
Malachi 4:6 “And he will return parents hearts to their children and children’s hearts to their parents….” (the Voice Translation) AND GOD PAUSED for 400 years.
Each time God Paused, He did amazing things: Created Adam (Gen. 1). Set a specific time to enjoy His presence (Gen.2). Sent His Son, Jesus, into the earth to bring salvation, healing and wholeness. (Malachi 6 to Matthew 1).
Yesterday, it felt like God Paused. It was a day set aside for prayer. An international Sabbath. A time for nations to Pause. A time to be still and KNOW that He is God. To know He is King of the Universe. To know He is still in control.
I believe the Kingdom of God is rising in the earth in a new way. It is in this hour, as others are moving in fear, our God is creating a platform for His kids to arise in hope to release His Hope to the world. Great harvest of souls? Maybe.
If God is pausing, so should we.
My daughter, JoAnna, wrote this to the women in her group. I could not have said it better.
“Good Monday to all of you! I wanted to tell you that I’m praying for each of your families today. Praying peace, peace over your homes and hearts. I have been anchored in Ps. 91, especially regarding vs 6. Please read in the Passion! It’s in reference to demonic danger-the hysteria and fear we are seeing completely relates to this passage. We are not to fear, but trust in the name of the Lord our God-he is Jehovah Sabaoth-the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. I would like to also encourage you to consider taking communion regularly as a family. It’s our reminder of what Jesus did for us. He paid the penalty not just for our sin, but for our sickness. We have authority over every living creature, we are called to take dominion/subdue the earth-it is our Kingdom citizen right. Communion is our way of remembering these truths and what we walk in: power, wisdom and a sound mind. Also, talk with your children. Remind them of these passages and the foundations of our faith. We are light and now our light shines brighter than ever before. We are hope and peace everywhere we go. We store up and feast of Jesus so that we can release His hope to our hopeless culture/world. I love you all!! This is the season and time that the church advances.”
“Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you.” Psalms 91:6 TPT

These are indeed disturbing times that we are living in.My husband is sick with what we hope is a cold but was tested at our physicians office for covid-19 which we will not have results in for three more days. But we refuse to give in to the fear that the rest of the world is full of.Because we know God is with us, And He is our joy, our strength, and our Healer;our Jehovah Rapha, our peace. We will not be afraid. We will instead dwell with Him and focus on His Word.Because He never leaves us.We will not fear.Thankyou for the encouragement Ruthie and for being the warrior woman for God that you are. When I grow up,I want to be just like you.Gods peace to you and yours always.

Ruthie, I love this. God paused. I have been feeling that He has been asking me to pause for quite some time. Only it’s hard for me to believe that is actually His voice. But amazing things happen after His pauses…Yes. Love you, Dear Ruthie.

Dear Ruthie
I cannot see a follow button on your new home 😊
In any case I love this.
Our little family in Australia takes communion every day, and we are declaring Ps 91 morning and night.
It does seem to be a Selah moment.
Stay well.
Blessings,
Beth
